No prerequisites

Jenkins needs a JVM and a plugin ecosystem. Woodpecker needs a Git forge and containers. Walis needs a shell — as a self-contained binary for Windows, macOS and Linux, down to a Raspberry Pi.

Steps you can watch

Every step keeps its own status, log, exit code and duration. Output streams live while the build runs, locally and on remote agents alike.

Builds that stay in their lane

A build only runs inside an allowed working directory, and its environment is an allow-list — the service's connection strings and secrets were never put in it. On macOS a sandbox also blocks the data directory outright — no password hashes, no cloud keys.

Plugins that return data

A plugin produces a shell snippet, not behaviour. You can read exactly what it will run before you install it.

Made for agents

The API speaks MCP, so Claude Code or Codex can trigger a build, wait for it and read the log — with a scoped API key.

Grows with you

Start on SQLite. Point it at PostgreSQL, MySQL or SQL Server and several nodes share the work, electing a leader for the jobs that must run once.
